Peter has been working at the Practice since January 1972. He qualified from Guys Hospital Dental School in 1971, and in 1977 gained a PhD and DIC from Imperial College, London. He has carried out postdoctoral research at Guy’s hospital, and was involved in the undergraduate teaching of clinical dentistry at Guy’s. Peter has subsequently gained qualifications from the Faculty of General Dental Practice and Homerton College of Cambridge University.
Peter has a wealth of experience covering the vast range of general dental practice. For over forty years he has looked after thousands of patients including many generations of families, providing great continuity of care. He has developed and updated his skills and knowledge constantly. He has also provided excellent dental care to many patients who are anxious about treatment.
Peter is heavily involved in organising and teaching in Dental Foundation Training, a process whereby newly qualified dentist are introduced to the responsibilities of modern high, quality general dental practice, and is Regional Advisor for Health Education East of England.
Peter sits and has sat on many local and national professional committees and has worked tirelessly towards helping dentists to provide the best possible care for patients.
