Peter Cranfield PhD, BDS, DIC, DGDP(UK), PgCert Med Ed
Peter has been working at the Practice since January 1972. He qualified from Guys Hospital Dental School in 1971, and in 1977 gained a PhD and DIC from Imperial College, London. He has carried out postdoctoral research at Guy’s hospital, and was involved in the undergraduate teaching of clinical dentistry at Guy’s. Peter has subsequently gained qualifications from the Faculty of General Dental Practice and Homerton College of Cambridge University.
Peter has a wealth of experience covering the vast range of general dental practice. For over forty years he has looked after thousands of patients including many generations of families, providing great continuity of care. He has developed and updated his skills and knowledge constantly. He has also provided excellent dental care to many patients who are anxious about treatment.
Peter is heavily involved in organising and teaching in Dental Foundation Training, a process whereby newly qualified dentist are introduced to the responsibilities of modern high, quality general dental practice, and is Regional Advisor for Health Education East of England.
Peter sits and has sat on many local and national professional committees and has worked tirelessly towards helping dentists to provide the best possible care for patients.

Victor Gehani qualified in 2000 and after spending a year at the Eastman Dental Institute, has worked in a General Dental Practice in the UK. He has gained postgraduate qualifications with the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of England (2003), Facutly of General Practice UK (2004) and from Bristol University (Postgraduare Dental Studies 2007).
In 2007 the Pierre Fauchard Academy bestowed an honorary fellowship upon him for his contribution towards teaching and education in Dentistry. Victor regularly attends postgraduate courses to update and enhance his knowledge and skills in Dentistry and also lectures and examines for postgraduare dental courses and examinations. Victor has completed a teaching qualification and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK.
He regularly teaches and examines other dentists. With several years of experience in implant dentistry, Victor has completed and MSc in implantology from the University of Warwick (UK) and has been awarded a Fellowships from the International Congress in Oral Implantology (ICOI) and International Academy of Dento-facial Esthetics (IADFE). He has also completed a Post graduate certificate course in Restorative Dental Practice from the Eastman Dental Institute.
Victor is a Associate Dental Dean for London Dental Education and Training and is involved in organizing postgraduate CPD courses for the dental team and training Foundation Dentist. He has lectured on placing and restoring implants for BioHorizons and is involved in mentoring dentists undertaking further implant training.
Hi, I’m Laveena. I qualified in 2003 from Barts and the Royal London. I worked in practice in London for a while and then went on to complete 2 years as a senior House officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Queens Hospital in Romford and Luton and Bedford Hospital. Following that, I have worked for the Special Care dental Service in Hertfordshire which I have continued part-time since working at Cranfield Dental Care.
I have a keen interest in treating children and nervous/anxious patients.
In my spare time, I spend lots of time playing with my son and making sure he has lots of fun activities to do. I also like to cook and spend time in the garden.
Dr. Alisa Patel- GDC Number- 258 537
Having qualified from King’s College London, Alisa completed her foundation training within the London Deanery and has since worked as an associate in multiple practices within Hertfordshire. Alisa is known for her friendly and empathetic nature, particularly when dealing with anxious patients and children, and is dedicated to listening to each patient’s individual needs in order to provide a high standard of NHS and private dental care.
Alisa is dedicated to post-graduate training, regularly attending lectures and seminars, with a particular focus on conservative dentistry. She recently completed Part 1 of the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons. She also has a strong passion for facial aesthetics and is certified in providing anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and tooth whitening procedures.
Outside of dentistry, Alisa enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Dr Patel qualified from Barts and the London school of medicine and dentistry in 2013. He has since spent time in general practice generating a great deal of experience in various modes of treatment.
His aim is to transform peoples attitudes towards dentistry, to provide a calm relaxing atmosphere, that will provide people from all walks of life a new and enjoyable experience.
Lomas is a trained quick straight teeth provider and enjoys working with nervous patients, helping them overcome their anxiety.
